So, I just realized I won't be in town for my 30th birthday (Feb 10). Awe shucks.
Well, I think I will have to throw a little bash when I return.

- To quit my job and travel Europe to many is unusual and a bold move to make. Yes, I agree. There were many nights I was full of anxiety and thinking to myself, "What the f*** am I doing?!" But it's something I needed to do. To put it simply, I wasn't satisfied with my life and I've always wanted to backpack through Europe. At any time in my life, this was the time to do it. Some joke I'm going through my midlife crisis at 29. It's possible! So I quit my job (last day July 16), moved out of my apartment and got rid of my belongings, ie, couch, bed, furniture, and shipped the rest to my mom's. It's a scary decision to quit your job, especially during a not-so-hot economy. Some people have told me I should build my career while I'm young and I'll have trouble finding a job. Of course, I have worried what I'll do when I return. Not to sound arrogant, but everytime I've looked for a job it's been during a bad economy. I believe I'll be fine. If anything I can be a 29-year-old loser who bums off her mom! In all seriousness, I came to the conclusion that I can't be afraid to take chances and live. And I'm only 29, I have the rest of my life to work.

Hey chickie...My Dirty Thirty falls right on March 3 so maybe we can do a joint party when u come back or I can just fly out there for your birthday and we can party like rockstars...again!!
