Sunday in Bruges

In pic: Dieter, his girlfriend, me and Daphna.

Daphna is Mexican, but lived in San Antonia since a young age. She's been traveling Europe since June and will return to home in January.

We all hungout for the day. Dieter walked us around the enchanting city of Bruges.

It's known for its medieval charm and Gothic architecture. You really do feel like you're walking back in time.

The love birds. They're such a cute couple!

Inside a chruch from the 1600s. On the very top of the pic is a statue of Christ. It was a breathtaking church.

A government building in the main square.

A little wrap around?
Look closer to the couple on the left.

Another square with cafes.

Me on a bridge! There's many canals and bridges. It's so lovely.

After we walked around we ate lunch and saw the movie "In Bruge." After watching the movie, I told Dieter I'm going back to America - Bruge is too dangerous. It was a joke. FYI, the movie is about hitmen and therefore violent. It's laughable because Bruge is a very safe city.
Then we headed back to Dieter's where we snacked on bread and cheese, played a German board game.
It was a very nice day.
