Sunday Morning Wake-up Call

Dieter's home has three levels. First is living room and kicthen. Second is his bedroom and bathroom. Third is an attic turned bedroom - my room. In order for me to get downstairs I have to go through the bathroom.

Sunday morning I woke around 10 am and laid there for some time relaxing. Then I hear the shower turn on and Dieter shouting his signature "wha-hoo!" Then I hear the sounds of two people in the shower... and then moans and laughter.

I thought Ah, sheeeit, they're having sex! F***. I'm trapped up here! How am I gonna get downstairs? I want coffee. I want to start my day! F*** it, I'm going downstairs, I don't care. They must not! Damn Europeans - they really are more open when it comes to sex!

I enter the bathroom, attempting a quick escape and the f***ing door is locked! And I struggle for 15 seconds to open it. Damn, that didn't work as planned.

Finally I got downstairs.... where Daphne, Dieter's girlfriend's Couch Surfing guest was. She was staying at her place, but spent the night along with the girlfriend at Dieter's.

Some time later the love birds came down. Dieter apologized because he thought I was downstairs already. We all joked and laughed about the situation. I told him don't worry about it.

I really don't care. Sex is natural, everyone does it. But for some reason, I've heard more people have sex than I needed to in my life. It's like, do I have a sign on me that reads: Please have sex in my presence?

After the sexcapade, Dieter went to the bakery and brought us absolutely delicious pastries and crossiants. Yum!
